We started as one small community and grew quite quickly into a greater community. Unfortunately we made some unfortunate errors along the way, we rushed growing the server itself instead of letting the players grow by introducing multiple worlds which were incomplete, lack of events and not providing our existing players with what they desired most, simplicity and enjoyment. Such is the case with a lot of new servers. They can become great from the get go and grow to be something huge, but mistakes can happen which can deteriorate the server. We have lost more than a few players over the last month and a half and the majority of the ones we have left just seem to be checking in from time to time. I imagine its to see if our player database has grown and to see if anything has changed.
I have had many discussions with twotailstikat and dvdg101. Our main discussion came last night between the 3 of us and we together have made a lot of suggestions about what direction the server should go. Ultimately they all agree that it is my final decision but the person that I was in the beginning is similar to the person I am today. I like to hear from as many people as possible to make the best decision for the server. So after deliberating over everything that has been said this is the direction I believe we should go.
Alurion is pretty much a dead world, what few players we have left that are actually playing here are rarely on and the others are in limited supply.
Alurion will be deleted and become no more.
Any existing players that have builds in alurion will have the ability to have 1 main structure transferred to the new world.
EndrCraft will be our new home, new map, new nether, new end. It will be a fresh start for the server.
There will be rules as usual. There will be a whitelist and applications but there will not be a age limit on the server. Acceptance will be based on the application answers. We will have measures in place to deal with anyone who is unruly and doesn't fit into the server. Punishments will be swift and dealt with accordingly. We will have a voting system in place to help promote the server along with a donation system to help support the server. The only other way around this is to make a non whitelist server but anyone that joins will just be a visitor until they are promoted to member and they will not be able to do anything in game except run around. With the staff that we have at the moment this would not be a feasible idea because we do not have the ability to man the server 24/7 to do the promotions.
EndrCraft will be a semi-vanilla server with mcmmo.
We will have the following plugins for the server:
Essentials- basics for the server
Coreprotect- for rollbacks and investigation
GriefProtection- to help protect the players builds
BuyCraft- for donation purposes
Voticraft- to promote the server on different websites
WorldEdit- for use in building of world necessities
MCMMO - We all know what this is
Linksonsigns- provides url access for voting
GroupManager- for ranks and permissions
Multiverse - This will remain installed for future use, but not used in Endrcraft
WorldGaurd- To prevent mob spawning and protection in certain areas of spawn and other community buildings.
For those of you who have stuck with the server from the beginning you will be compensated for the inconvenience of starting over in the new world along with the move of one structure. The compensation has yet to be decided but we will make a decision on that shortly. I hope all of you understand that this is the best move we can possibly make. We will explore adding new worlds in the future but we will not be as rushed into opening new worlds to quickly in the future. If anything our first world will be a minigames world to add to the enjoyment for our players.
With the new server I am also reestablishing new titles for our world as follows:
HAdmin - Head Admin - Currently this is TwoTailsTikat.
His role in this position is to help maintain the server, plugins and deal with any issues and problems that interrupt service to the game. He will also help with monitoring the server for illegal and unwanted activity from our player database. He will help in the setup and running of events for the server.
Admin- Administrator- Currently these positions are held by dvdg101 and Elziad. There will be 1 open position left to be filled.
Their role is to maintain the server player database by ensuring that all players are enjoying themselves and that the rules of the server are being followed. They will help with running events and setting up community builds. They will handle all matters on the server with any disagreements, questions, and requests. Each admin has the right to make any decision in the best interest of the server regarding players and no admin may overrule another. The owner will be the only person who can overrule an admins decision.
Mods - Moderators- Currently held by Sami0807 and Enderpanda There are 2 open positions for this role.
Their role is to assist the admins in monitoring the server player database and advising on any infractions that they see when an admin is not on. The will help with running events and community builds and assisting players with their questions, requests or comments.
There will be no other roles in the new world at this time!
